The Hungarian Jewish Museum and Archives is one of the most extensive Jewish community collections in Central and Eastern Europe. The Archives have operated uninterrupted since the early nineteenth century and holds 1400 linear metres of documents, including community papers, vital registries, personal bequests and Holocaust-related records. For Yerusha, the Hungarian Jewish Museum and Archives have surveyed many of the relevant Jewish and Jewish-related archival materials in Hungary.
