CHAM – Center for the Humanities is a research unit of the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. It is one of the largest Portuguese research centers in the area of ​​the humanities. Together with the university’s Digital Humanities Lab, CHAM has been working on mapping archival collections for the project Western Sephardic Diaspora Roadmap. For Yerusha, the CHAM has surveyed Jewish and Jewish-related records in Portugal.
