Taube Department of Jewish Studies - University of Wrocław

The Taube Department of Jewish Studies of the University of Wrocław is one of the foremost scholarly institutions for this field of research in Poland. With programmes in Jewish languages, history and culture, it is spearheading research projects ranging from the social history of Hasidism and women’s studies to Yiddish and Ladino literature. For Yerusha, the department has surveyed archival material held in various insitutions reflecting Poland’s millennium of Jewish history.
