The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) is a leading institution of Holocaust research. The Museum’s International Archival Program Division conducts research acquisition programmes in 53 countries. As a member of the Yerusha network , USHMM undertook research in three countries: Ukraine, Greece and Serbia. The Ukrainian descriptions focus on public collections in the Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi and Volyn regions. In Greece, holdings of state, central and regional archives have been surveyed as well as private collections and repositories of Jewish communities. In Serbia, the focus is on the surviving records of two major communities: Novi Sad and Subotica.
