Omsk State University

The Omsk State University is one of the leading centres of scholarly research in Western Siberia. As a member of the Yerusha network, the University has surveyed Jewish-related archival materials in the city of Omsk, Tobolsk and Tomsk. It has explored the state and municipal holdings, as well as the documents preserved by the local Jewish community. Yerusha has been the first comprehensive scholarly attempt to survey Jewish archival heritage in Western Siberia.
