The London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) holds 100 kilometres of the UK capital’s documentary heritage dating from 1067 to the present day. It also guards the largest collection of Jewish communal archives in the UK (1090 linear metres). The majority of the Jewish organisations that have deposited their archives with the LMA are still thriving and creating new archival material, which they continuously add to their existing collections. Yerusha includes descriptions of many of these organisations’ archival collections.
